Kallas believes that Ukraine can win the war with the support of the EU.

The EU's chief diplomat, Kaja Kallas, believes that if the European Union provides Ukraine with the necessary support, it will help them win the war against Russia.

According to RBK-Ukraine, she stated this at the annual conference of the EU defense agency.

During her speech, Kallas reminded that the European Union has already allocated 134 billion euros to Ukraine, of which 50 billion euros is designated for armaments, and the number of Ukrainian soldiers trained by EU countries is expected to reach 75,000 by the end of January.

She also mentioned that the EU is working on the 16th package of sanctions against Russia and expressed a desire to explore greater use of immobilized Russian assets to assist Ukraine.

"There is absolutely no doubt that we can do more to help Ukraine. With our support, they can win the war," Kallas said.

In her view, the only language that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin understands is the language of power, and the EU possesses that power, as the combined economies of EU member states are 17 times larger than Russia's.

She stated that the EU must show Putin that he is losing and "stop him before he attacks any of us."

Support from the EU

Previously, the EU's high representative for foreign affairs, Josep Borrell, also claimed that the EU is nearing its promise to supply Ukraine with artillery shells annually. Deliveries are almost at this mark.

He also stated that the European Union will diplomatically pressure North Korea regarding the deployment of troops to the war in Ukraine.
