U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the Third World War is "not so far away." However, he assures that it will not happen during his presidency.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing Trump during his speech at the Future Investment Initiative summit in Miami.

Trump pointed to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, emphasizing that he "plans to put an end to this."

"I am quickly moving towards ending wars, resolving conflicts, and restoring peace on the planet - I want peace, and I do not want to see ... everyone being killed," he said.

The U.S. president claimed that the Third World War is "not so far away." But he assured that he will not allow a global conflict.

"No one benefits from a Third World War, and you are not so far from it, I’ll tell you right now, you are not so far. If we had the (Biden) administration for another year, you would be in a Third World War, but that will not happen now," Trump believes.

Trump and Zelensky Conflict

Recall that recently, negotiations took place in Saudi Arabia between representatives of the U.S. and Russia. President Vladimir Zelensky noted that Ukraine does not recognize negotiations that occur behind its back.

Following this, Trump made several sharp statements directed at Zelensky. In particular, he claimed that the trust rating of the Ukrainian president among citizens is only 4%.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky pointed out that the information about the alleged 4% trust in him comes from Russia. He criticized Trump for repeating Russian disinformation.

After Trump's statement, the KMIS published a fresh trust rating, the results of which indicate that 57% of Ukrainians trust Zelensky.

Additionally, the American president expressed dissatisfaction that elections are not being held in Ukraine and thus called Zelensky a "dictator without elections."
