In Rivne region, authorities have shut down a channel for evading military service, with individuals attempting to leave the country for $7,000.

In the Rivne region, a channel for the escape of conscripts abroad has been shut down. This was reported by the Rivne Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to preliminary investigation data, the suspects promised men of conscription age to facilitate their crossing of the border outside official checkpoints.

The traffickers convinced clients who already had "experience" in such crossings. They developed a route and provided detailed instructions on how to reach Europe without drawing the attention of border guards.

For these services, two conscripted men were supposed to pay 14 thousand dollars.

Currently, the issue of choosing measures for the suspects is being addressed.

The sanctions under the article provide for a punishment of imprisonment for a term of 7 to 9 years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in specific activities for up to 3 years, as well as confiscation of property.
