Starting from January 1, 2025, the minimum subsistence level for all social and demographic groups in Ukraine remains unchanged, including for children: for those under 6 years old - 2,563 UAH, and for those aged 6 to 18 years - 3,196 UAH. This impacts the amount of alimony and other social benefits, as noted by "Protokol".
The minimum alimony for children will be 50% of the subsistence minimum: for children under 6 years old - 1,281.5 UAH, and for children aged 6 to 18 years - 1,598 UAH. However, the minimum recommended payment corresponds to the subsistence minimum for children of the respective age.
The maximum amount of alimony in 2025 will reach 10 subsistence minimums for children of the corresponding age. For children under 6 years old, this amounts to 25,630 UAH, and for children aged 6 to 18 years - 31,960 UAH.
Other social benefits also remain relevant:
Payments for low-income families in 2025 will also increase by 130% of the subsistence minimum for children.
