The President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that an agreement to end the war in Ukraine remains a distant prospect for now.

According to him, only initial steps have been taken, and neither side has begun any real processes to negotiate the terms of ending the war.

“Today we are discussing the first steps, and as long as they are not on paper, I would prefer not to delve too deeply into them. There is still a very, very long way to go before an agreement to end the war is reached. No one has taken these steps,” Zelensky said in an interview with foreign media representatives during his visit to Britain.

The President emphasized that Ukraine will never accept the occupation of its territories by Russia and will continue to seek reliable security guarantees from international partners.
