The President of the United States Donald Trump expressed his openness to the idea of businessman Elon Musk acquiring the TikTok platform. Trump made this statement during a speech at the White House on January 21.

When asked if he would support the acquisition of the app by tech mogul Elon Musk, Trump replied, "Yes, I will support it."

He also emphasized the importance of obtaining permission from the U.S. government for the social media platform, stating that without it, TikTok is essentially "worth nothing."

As reported by “Judicial Newspaper,” Donald Trump signed an order delaying the ban on the Chinese social network TikTok for 75 days. The document requires the Attorney General not to enforce the law, allowing the administration time to determine the appropriate course of action regarding TikTok.

Recall that the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the law banning TikTok in the country.
