Next week, Microsoft is expected to launch a new advanced model from OpenAI.

The company Microsoft may release its advanced model OpenAI GPT-4.5 next week. This is reported by the specialized publication The Verge, indicates Ukrinform.

According to a source familiar with the company’s plans, Microsoft engineers are preparing server capacities for the upcoming OpenAI GPT-4.5 and GPT-5 models. Although OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently acknowledged that GPT-4.5 will be launched within a few weeks, it seems that Microsoft expects the new AI model to be released as early as next week,” the article states.

It is noted that GPT-4.5, codenamed Orion, is the next advanced model from OpenAI and the latest model from the company that is not a chain of opinions.

The next-generation model, GPT-5, is expected to appear in late May, aligning with the promise that a next-generation model will be available.

“GPT-5 is likely to be a more significant release among this pair, and Altman referred to it as a "system that integrates many of our technologies." It also includes OpenAI's new reasoning model o3,” the article highlights.
