Some European countries are backing the continuation of the war in Ukraine, according to Marco Rubio.

The U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that some European countries are in favor of extending the war in Ukraine for another year. However, Rubio stated in an interview with CNN that such an approach is unrealistic.

The head of the State Department explained that Europeans are suggesting continuing the fight for another year until Russia itself begins to plead for peace.

Rubio mentioned that Donald Trump does not support this policy and pointed out that there is currently no peace plan from Europe.
