During the latest meeting, the government made amendments to the regulatory acts governing production losses and the yield of alcohol, alcoholic distillates, and alcoholic beverages. As reported by the Cabinet representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, adjustments were made to the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 28, 2022, and November 22, 2022.
The changes pertain to the norms of production losses for ethyl alcohol, including bioethanol, as well as for alcoholic distillates, wine materials, and juices in the production of alcoholic beverages. The government resolutions were aligned with the requirements of the Tax Code of Ukraine and Law No. 3817.
Particular attention was given to the loss norms for 100% alcohol adjusted to a temperature of 20°C during gin production. These norms complemented the relevant resolutions previously approved.
