Starting from March 1, pensions and insurance payments will be indexed by 11.5%. According to the Ministry of Social Policy, this means that over 10 million Ukrainians will begin receiving increased pensions effective March 1.

The First Deputy Minister of Social Policy Daria Marchak mentioned that it is important that even the lowest pensions, which previously were not included in the indexing framework, will be indexed. At the same time, there is a cap on the maximum increase for the highest pensions, limited to 1,500 UAH, regardless of the category.

“This year, the lowest pensions, which were not subject to indexing before 2023, will again be indexed. The average expected increase in pensions after indexing will be 556 UAH, raising the average pension in Ukraine from 5,789 to 6,345 UAH,” noted the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich.

The minimum increase in pensions will be no less than 100 UAH.
