Supporters of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol caused chaos in a courthouse following the decision to place him in custody. This is reported by Reuters.
As noted by the “Judicial Legal Newspaper”, the court in South Korea decided to arrest President Yoon Suk-yeol. This led to widespread protests among his supporters, who stormed the courthouse, smashed windows, and created disorder inside.
It has been indicated that the president's supporters broke through police barriers, entered the courthouse, destroyed furniture, and used fire extinguishers against law enforcement officers attempting to quell the unrest.
The police reported the arrest of more than 40 individuals.
