TikTok прекратил свою деятельность в США – приложение больше недоступно в App Store и Google Play.

On the evening of January 18, TikTok ceased operations in the United States. As writes CNN, the app has disappeared from Apple's App Store, and an error message appears when attempting to download it from Google Play.

Users of the app encountered a message stating: “Unfortunately, TikTok is currently unavailable. A law has been enacted in the U.S. banning TikTok. Regrettably, this means you cannot use TikTok for now.”

At the same time, the company speculated that the app might return soon – possibly by Monday, January 20.

“We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated he will work with us on a solution to restore TikTok when he takes office,” the company announced in a pop-up message for users who opened the app starting Saturday evening. “Please stay tuned for updates!”

It is worth noting that Donald Trump promised a resolution regarding TikTok “in the near future.”

Additionally, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the law banning TikTok in the country.

It is also known that China is considering the scenario of selling TikTok's American assets to Elon Musk.
