The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that negotiations to end the war will take place, and they should involve the USA, Ukraine, and European countries. He made this remark during an interview with Fox News.
“Ukraine desires peace, and negotiations will happen regardless,” said the Head of State.
“I simply mentioned that we are talking about a fair and lasting peace, and we need to be strong at the negotiating table. Ukraine, the USA, and Europe must be present at the table, and Ukraine will approach the negotiations from a position of strength,” Zelensky added.
Recall that Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the need for reliable security guarantees from the USA during a conversation with Trump, but did not receive a clear response regarding these guarantees from Trump.
As previously reported by “Judicial and Legal Newspaper”, after the meeting at the White House, US President Donald Trump indicated that the signing of a minerals agreement on February 28 is not expected.
Later, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is ready to sign an agreement with the USA regarding minerals.
