In Dnipro, a covert FSB agent was apprehended—revealed to be a local attorney.

The Security Service of Ukraine has uncovered and detained one of the most covert FSB agents in Dnipropetrovsk region. The individual turned out to be a well-known local lawyer who was providing the enemy with information about the locations of Ukrainian Armed Forces' weapon storage, coordinating missile strikes, and justifying the aggression of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the SBU and the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, the lawyer maintained contact with an official from the so-called "district administration" in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, who collaborates with the FSB. Through the Telegram messenger, the suspect transmitted data regarding military and critical infrastructure sites, as well as information about the consequences of Russian missile attacks.

In particular, in December 2023, based on his information, the enemy launched a missile strike with strategic cruise missiles "X-101" on Dnipro. As a result of the attack, several infrastructure facilities were damaged, 6 people lost their lives, and another 30 were injured.

The detention occurred at the "Krakovets" checkpoint when the lawyer attempted to flee abroad. He has been charged under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

• treason in conditions of martial law (part 2 of Article 111);
• conspiracy to commit a crime (part 2 of Article 28);
• justification of armed aggression by the Russian Federation (part 2 of Article 436-2).

The lawyer is currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing to determine all the circumstances of his collaboration with the enemy.
