On November 18, trams and trolleybuses in Odessa will not operate on their routes. They will be partially replaced by buses. This was announced by the Mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov.
According to him, “the restrictions on energy supply do not allow us to launch electric transport on the routes.”
“We are currently looking for resources to engage Mercedes vehicles from partners – specifically drivers. At the moment, we have the capacity to launch four buses. Transportation will be free,” stated Trukhanov.
Regarding the educational process, the Mayor of Odessa emphasized that the decision of the regional commission for Technogenic and Ecological Safety and Emergency Situations has declared two days as non-working days – November 18 and 19. The work of duty classes and groups has been organized.
