Honoring Heroes and Supporting Their Families: KMVA Chief Timur Tkachenko met with the relatives of fallen soldiers.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, held a meeting with the families of fallen soldiers, captives, and those missing in action from Kyiv.

He announced this on his Facebook page.

Timur Tkachенко tasked officials with organizing the burial, honoring, and memorialization of the Heroes.

“I held a difficult but very necessary meeting with the families of our fallen Heroes, with the relatives of the captured and missing Kyiv residents, citizens of the capital. I report primarily to those gathered here, as well as to all Kyivans who are enduring the pain of loss and uncertainty,” the message states.

Tkachенко explained that he instructed to systematize both individual concerns and common issues: burials, honors, memorialization, the quality of interaction with institutions and officials, and the culture in cemeteries and public spaces.

According to him, the overall conclusion is that we are in urgent need of a systematic and human-centered approach.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, promised to inform about future public meetings and their format.
