From February 14 to 20, 2025, territorial and interregional bodies of the State Environmental Inspection of Ukraine conducted 367 control measures and drew up 383 protocols for administrative offenses.

The total amount of imposed fines is 87 thousand UAH.

A total of 79 thousand UAH has been recovered for the state budget.

For violations of environmental legislation, damages amounting to 5 million 324 thousand UAH have been calculated.

The total amount of claims and lawsuits is 2 million 867 thousand UAH.

Damages have been recovered voluntarily and through enforcement totaling 3 million 147 thousand UAH (taking into account previously filed claims and lawsuits).

Kiev Region

The Capital District Inspection calculated damages of 1 million 581 thousand 574 UAH for illegal unauthorized logging and appropriation of 81 trees within the Chernobyl Radiation and Ecological Biosphere Reserve. A report of the crime has been sent to the Main Department of the National Police in the Kiev region.

Mykolaiv Region

The Southwestern District Inspection calculated damages of 562 thousand 656 UAH for illegal logging in a protective forest strip near the city of Bashtanka, where 23 immature trees of various species were cut down by unidentified individuals without a special permit – a logging ticket. A report of the crime has been sent to the Bashtanka District Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region.

Khmelnytskyi Region

The Inspection in Khmelnytskyi region calculated damages and submitted a claim to the Slavuta City Council for an amount of 752 thousand 662 UAH for the illegal logging of 81 trees of various species in a forest area within the Slavuta amalgamated territorial community between the villages of Radoshivka and Varvarivka in the Shepetivka district.
