As the expert explains, Trump believes that the Russian-Ukrainian war is Biden's war; he is to blame, he has lost, and Russia cannot be defeated because this military machine was not overcome by either Hitler or Napoleon, so it needs to be dismantled. To achieve this, he continues, the U.S. has started negotiating with Russia and will subsequently involve Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian perspective, as well as that of Europeans, does not align with this. It is based on the idea that no one has won and no one has lost; the war needs to be frozen, Ukraine must be given guarantees, and a conclusion to the war needs to be established,” notes Vadim Karasev.
Secondly, he continues, Trump has no interest in engaging in any cold war with Russia; he is only focused on restoring stability in Eastern Europe and then moving on to the Arctic and countering China. Continuing a cold war with the Russian Federation, the expert adds, would mean further arming Ukraine and dealing with all of that.
“But Europe has a different perspective, that of globalist Europe, of Brussels. They want to continue the war, even in a cold form. As they say, by any means necessary. Because without war, there will be no Europe; they need an enemy – Russia. This is how relationships in foreign policy and geopolitics work; friend and foe dynamics are always in play, and an enemy is necessary for consolidation. No enemy means no consolidation. Thus, to fight against the enemy, everyone must unite under one flag. Therefore, Europe is not interested in the conclusion of the war that Trump proposes. Here, the interests of Ukraine and globalist Europe coincide,” concludes Vadim Karasev.
