The former host of pro-Russian channels, Max Nazarov, has been remanded in custody, as he will be taken into custody.
This was reported by Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, the head of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Freedom of Speech, in his Telegram channel.
"The Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv has chosen a measure of restraint for the former host of the channels 'Our' and NewsOne, Max Nazarov (Maxim Diordyka) - detention for 60 days with the possibility of bail set at 12 million hryvnias," he wrote.
Yurchyshyn also added that the court partially satisfied the prosecution's request, which sought to keep Nazarov in custody for 60 days without determining a bail amount. The defense requested personal commitment or house arrest.
