Russia is experiencing a total defeat against the Security Service of Ukraine in the intelligence war. The SBU consistently stays one step ahead of the enemy. This was commented on by political analyst Alexey Golobutsky regarding the recent exposure of a top traitor, SBU Colonel Kozyura, who was detained personally by the head of the Service, Vasily Malyuk.

The political analyst believes that the operation to apprehend the traitor is unprecedented and historic. "The SBU always finds itself one step ahead of the Russians, who are completely losing in the intelligence confrontation. Malyuk has initiated a process of cleansing the Service of Russian agents, which is ongoing. Without this cleansing, the SBU wouldn’t have had the chance to conduct such powerful operations against the enemy. They even managed to use the 'rat' against the very recruiters. For a long time, the Russians were fed disinformation through him. This is indeed a masterful job by our intelligence agencies," the expert emphasizes.

Golobutsky highlights the significance of the fact that the traitor was apprehended during the active phase of the war. "Today, each exposed enemy agent represents saved lives for someone. An agent of such a level means hundreds of lives, as his information could have been used by the Russians to plan shelling and their own operations," the expert asserts.

"With Vasily Malyuk assuming leadership of the SBU, both government bodies and the Service itself have been 'cleansed' of Russian agents. The photo of SBU head holding 'rat' Kozyura by the scruff went viral in all media. Ahead of 'the rat' is a trial and a sentence. Almost certainly, it will be life imprisonment," Golobutsky concludes.

It should be noted that it was previously reported that The SBU conducted an unprecedented special operation and uncovered a "top agent" of the FSB within its ranks: initially, the Service used him for disinformation against the enemy, and then detained him.
