In Khmelnytskyi, a student approached the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRSS) to apply for a deferral, but instead, he was mobilized.
According to the materials in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, the incident occurred in February 2025. A student from Podillya State University applied for a deferral but received a mobilization order instead.
The TCRSS justified this decision by claiming that the student's application was allegedly submitted after the conscription had started and contained errors. However, the court determined that the TCRSS had no grounds to mobilize the young man, as he is a full-time student, which qualifies him for a deferral.
The TCRSS did not provide convincing evidence that the student submitted his deferral application after the mobilization. The court annulled the military service order and deemed the student's mobilization illegal.
